For those of you like me that miss your curry kick when visiting the sunshine state then this is a find. I am sure like me you will enjoy the experience. The food was without a doubt the best indian I have had in Florida. The beer selection is outstanding.
The careful attentive staff pandering to our every whim. Portions very good and even reduced upon request to enable us to sample some of the main dishes as side dishes.
When ordering we were asked the strength of the fireyness required. How refreshing!

All the UK familiar names so no guessing, as has been my experience in the past with US 'Indian Style' food. (usually a melding of mediocre spices swathed in tomato ketchup.
This menu is quite extensive. So no excuse now and no more chilli withdrawal symptoms.

Located in a small strip mall on the southbound carriageway of Hwy 27 opposite to the Chevron Garage. Easy to miss but a joy when found.

Comments.... An absolute carnivores paradise!!
Only recently arrived in Orlando, this Brazilian themed restaurant enjoys great reviews from it's other locations in Texas, Miami and Memphis among others. Beginners mistake to avoid - filling yourself up at the huge salad bar, though easily done!! Gauchos roam the restaurant with long skewers of meat, freshly seasoned and grilled on open flames. You each have a reversible card - red for no, green for yes. The gauchos will keep feeding you if you have your card on green or not if its red. Very tempting to leave it on green when the quality of food that keeps arriving is unmistakably brilliant. Filet mignon, chicken, lamb, bacon wrapped steak and chicken, Brazilian sausage,picanha, it all just keeps coming. Served with garlic mashed potatoes and fried bananas.The sweets look great but never managed to get that far!! Extensive wine list, watch that sodas aren't refilled for free.
Go hungry, leave barely able to walk!

Flatbread starters - you won't be disappointed. The sweets come in small portions so that you can try one (or two) without breaking the calorie bank. Must book. Eat outside on balcony area with views over the huge lake.

Comments...... A lovely restaurant, very different to anything else in the Orlando area. They have a menu full of lots of little dishes and you order them as you want them. They also have an Artist in residence each day and sometimes they even have a Tarot reader!! It is perfectly fine to get up and walk around during your meal to look at all of the art work that is both on display and for sale.

Comments...... If you want a burger you can have it anyway that it is possible to do it with so many different toppings etc.!! Kids love this place, but so do most adults as well. Not your normal burger place at all.

Comments...... Excellent family restaurant, they claim to make the best Ribs in America, and they are not wrong. If ribs aren't your thing they have steaks, chicken and mouth watering salads. Excellent value for money on Monday evenings as is it eat as many ribs as you can!

Comments...... We always visit when we are over. A wonderful all you can eat buffet including a chef preparing pasta to your instructions. The desserts are to die for, including Ben & Jerry's ice cream with sprinkles. It is themed on an outdoor Mediterranean Restaurant under the huge glass atrium. Afterwards you can stroll around and see the alligators, turtles, fountains and wander in their indoor Everglades. Don't forget to say you have come to eat when you arrive at the car park and get your parking pass stamped to avoid the $7 parking fee.

Comments...... You need a big appetite here as the Steaks are humungous ! Up to 32oz of prime usda beef and the Aussie Lobster tails 23 oz. Skip a starter and have a desert ... if you can manage one they are huge too!

Comments...... Buffet style meal all you can eat. Not a huge selection but good enough, we used it mainly as a character meal for the kids as the characters from Hundred acre wood are there, park ticket required and prior booking is essential at busy times.

Comments...... Basically you help yourself buffet style in this restaurant. The food is varied with lots of dishes from the African Continent and you will always find something you like. We went xmas eve and the hotel is magical and my kids loved it. A family place and it shows. Go do it!

Comments...... This is my favourite in "in house or Park" restaurant. The food is excellent although pricier than other onsite restaurants. Book your dining experience and get the "fantasmic" back gate passes that saves you waiting in line for 2 hours. Excellent menu and comprehensive wine list. You wont be disappointed.

Comments...... A great place for a good night out. Live music inside from 10 pm, and live music outside most of the day. You must try the 'Cheesburger in paradise' yummy. The Margaritas are to die for. Sit near the bar if you can, and watch the Volcano erupt every 30 minutes or so. If you get the chance, visit the original one in Key West.

Comments.... Sports bar restaurant chain owned by Dan Marino a legendary Dolphin's player. This sports bar has plenty of television screens for those wanting to watch American sports whilst they eat but they are easy to ignore if not that interested. It is best to book ahead as it is very popular. If you have to wait for a table why not take a walk around the adjacent shopping mall! We have found that the food is always nice and fresh, the staff are helpful and friendly. There is also a branch at Mall of Millennia.

Comments.... This is predominantly a fish restaurant situated overlooking No Name Harbour in the State Park. The fish is always very fresh. It is not necessary to have a main meal as they are willing to serve coffees only, should you just wish to sit for a while. Certain days of the week the lighthouse at the park is open for free guided tours and the view from the top over the surrounding area is well worth climbing the stairs for.

Comments.... Been twice and even introduced our property managers (Americans) to it. They said they liked it (they actually went for the first time before we took them out just to check they liked Indian food).

Just a comment on the comments already posted on the website - don,t drink wine - even a good Ruby - with a curry........you won't taste the wine!!! Better off with Indian beer.
